What’s happening!

During the past two years we have undertaken major refurbishments of several areas of the school. These have included:

• Decoration and recarpeting of classrooms.
• Complete upgrade of the IT suite to provide robust computers and server systems which enable us to run Windows XP with Office 2003 software and broadband internet access.
• Provision of IT resources for staff and remote locations for extending the IT network into the Manor House and residential areas.
• Complete refurbishment of the Art and Design department including the provision of a kiln.
• Refurbishment of the swimming pool changing rooms.
• Provision of a new motorised cover for the swimming pool.
• Provision of a new Junior Library and Senior Girls Common Room.
• Upgrading and refurbishment of boarding accommodation and staff residences.
• Levelling and drainage of our extensive playing fields.
• Resurfacing of the playground area.
• Major works to the heating and plumbing within the school.
• Construction of Astroturf.

A lot of ’invisible’ work for the upkeep and day-to-day running of the school is an ongoing commitment.
